How are HeatBriqs Made?

HeatBriqs are created using spruce wood chips which are a natural by-product from our sawmilling processes.

The wood chips are dried and refined using bespoke
machinery, before being put through a RUF branded briquetting machine.

No chemical additives are used during the manufacturing process and every single briquette is stamped with the RUF seal of approval.

HeatBriqs deliver a consistent ambient heat keeping your home Warmer for Longer.

Burning hotter and longer than traditional fuels, HeatBriqs provide maximum energy and reduce the need for frequent refuelling.

All of our raw materials are from a sustainable source.

Burn in smokeless zones

HeatBriqs can be burnt in smokeless zones providing you have a DEFRA approved stove.

Due to the low moisture content in HeatBriqs, there’s minimal smoke and emissions.

In addition, their low ash content means less waste and easier cleanup – what a bonus!
